What We Teach<\/strong>
Salsa On1<\/strong>\u00a0is a style of salsa where the basic step is organized around the\u00a0\u201c1\u201d beat of the music<\/strong>. It is often associated with\u00a0Los Angeles-style salsa (LA Style)<\/strong>\u00a0and is known for its energetic, expressive and visually dynamic character.
Salsa On2 (Mambo)<\/strong>, also known as\u00a0New York Style \/ Mambo<\/strong>, is a style of salsa where the basic step is danced in relation to the\u00a02-beat of the music<\/strong>. It has a strong connection to the\u00a0mambo and New York Latin dance tradition<\/strong>. Our specialty! A smooth and expressive salsa style that allows you to dance with precision, flow, and emotion. We focus on timing, technique, body movement, and musical interpretation.
Urban Kiz<\/strong>\u00a0is a modern partner dance that developed from\u00a0Kizomba<\/strong>, but has evolved into its own distinct style. It combines\u00a0connection, body control, musicality, technique and modern urban music<\/strong>. Unlike traditional Kizomba, Urban Kiz often uses a more\u00a0linear and dynamic movement vocabulary<\/strong>, with changes of direction, stops, accelerations and controlled weight transfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where Urban Kiz often plays with direction, distance and dynamic movement<\/strong>, Tarraxo focuses much more on body communication and subtle movement between two dancers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
