Meet Edson Ludowika<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founder of Son Del Mambo Dance Company<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born on the sunny Caribbean island of Cura\u00e7ao<\/strong>, Edson Ludowika<\/strong> was surrounded by rhythm and dance from the very beginning. The island\u2019s music and culture shaped his early connection to movement \u2014 a connection that quickly grew into a lifelong passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his youth, Edson discovered the vibrant world of hip hop and breakdance<\/strong>, diving deep into the styles that would lay the foundation for his dance journey. With years of experience under his belt, he began exploring other dance forms, driven by a desire to continuously evolve and challenge the norm. While hip hop remains close to his heart, Edson\u2019s creative curiosity led him to study a wide range of styles \u2014 enriching his choreographic voice and setting him apart from the mainstream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a choreographer and teacher<\/strong>, Edson has earned recognition within the urban and hip hop dance community<\/strong>, working on various projects and collaborations with artists across genres. In particular, his mastery of krumping<\/strong> helped him make a name for himself both as a performer and an innovator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, Edson\u2019s dance story didn\u2019t stop there. Fueled by an ever-present hunger to grow, he returned to another great love: salsa dancing<\/strong>. With his deep technical understanding and experience in body control, musicality, and movement, Edson found a natural fit in Salsa On2 (NY Style)<\/strong> \u2014 a style known for its flow, precision, and expressive rhythm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Edson brings his rich dance background<\/strong>, technical insight<\/strong>, and passion for teaching<\/strong> to students of salsa<\/strong>, bachata<\/strong>, urban kizomba<\/strong>, and tarraxo<\/strong>. His eye for detail, ability to explain complex techniques in simple terms, and personal approach make him the ideal mentor for anyone looking to grow as a dancer \u2014 from beginners to advanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
